Whilst not necessary for cleaning performance, we understand that some users will want to combine a cleaning detergent with the wet roller head. If you decide to use detergent, please follow the manufacturer's guidance on the recommended dilution. We do not recommend putting neat detergents in the clean water tank.

If there is a substantial number of dry debris on your floor, and you are not cleaning a spill or wet debris, we recommend vacuuming your floor before wet cleaning it to achieve the best cleaning performance. Do not vacuum up any spills or wet debris in dry mode as this could damage your vacuum cleaner.

The Submarine wet roller head is not compatible with any of our other vacuums, including pre-purchased Dyson V15 Detect™ vacuum. To intelligently switch between wet and dry cleaning, this version of the machine has been reprogrammed. Our previous software is not compatible with wet floor cleaning.

Refill the water to full when the water is running low in the clean water tank. With a full tank of water, the Dyson Submarine™ wet roller head supports 16 minutes run time before the clean water runs out. To help protect the motor in the wet roller head, we recommend you do not run the product when the clean water tank is empty.

No, our Dyson V15s Detect Submarine™ wet and dry vacuum has intelligent mode detection. As soon as the wet roller head is attached, your Dyson V15s Detect Submarine™ wet and dry vacuum will automatically enter wet cleaning mode.

The clean water tank is transparent, and owners will be able to see how much water is remaining in the clean water tank during cleaning.
