The suction system with its four special features guarantees a first-class cleaning performance. 1. Sweeping side brushes trap coarse dirt in the area under the appliance. 2. A roller brush then reliably catches this dirt and transports it to the front suction opening. 3. The rear suction opening ensures that fine dirt is removed thoroughly. 4. Thanks to a powerful fan, the dirt lands securely in the appliance’s dust box.

Easy and convenient: selected areas can be prioritised or blocked with the new Miele Scout app.
The new Miele Scout app now supports even more operating functions for your robot vacuum cleaner. Would you prefer only to clean a specific area of your home like the kitchen, for example? Simply select this as a preference in the app. You can even block selected zones like carpets, for example. Your Scout RX3 will then avoid them during its cleaning programme.
3D smart navigation
Camera-based, three-dimen-sional room detection
Intelligent navigation: 2 front cameras enable high-precision 3D object detection for comprehensive cleaning.
Two front cameras give the Scout RX3 high-precision, three-dimensional object recognition. It measures the distances to potential obstructions automatically and navigates safely around them. This prevents furniture and objects from being damaged. Even complex room structures are no problem for the Scout with 3D Smart Navigation.
Furniture protection technology

Moves about without accidents: furniture, stairs and obstacles are detected and collisions or falls are avoided.
7 optical sensors at the front of the Scout robot vacuum cleaner recognise furniture and other obstacles in its path. The Scout approaches these objects carefully in order to clean the floor directly in front of them. Collisions are reliably avoided. An additional 3 sensors underneath the appliance recognise steps in the floor in time and prevent the Scout from falling down stairs.

At your disposal: you decide when the Scout cleans your floors – even when nobody is at home.
With the Scout you can programme the floor cleaning times individually. You can have it work, for instance, when you are not even at home. The Scout will begin cleaning at the selected time. The appliance then returns to the charging station on its own to recharge the battery. So feel free to go out while the Scout cleans your home.
Remote control

Excellent control: you can use the remote control to direct the Scout to clean specific areas.
Would you like to use the Scout in a different way to its automatic programmes? No problem – with the remote control provided, you can also operate the robot vacuum cleaner yourself. With simple commands the Scout can be guided directly to certain areas, which it then cleans thoroughly.

Operating the Miele robot vacuum cleaner is so easy. You can select the desired programme and start the Scout with only two touches on the clearly laid out touch display.
